You’ve arrived at this site because you’re interested in Yoga. Maybe you know someone who practises it? Maybe you’ve seen it at your local gym, on TV, or in newspapers and magazines? Or maybe you’ve even tried it a few times, but haven’t experienced the results you wanted?
You could fit into any or all of those categories. It doesn’t really matter, because whoever you are and whatever your background is, a life-changing trip to India taught me one very simple fact:
ANYONE Can Master Yoga
Easier said than done, right? Well let me prove it to you. First, just ask someone why they aren’t practising Yoga, and prepare for one of these answers:
- I don’t have the time
- The gym’s too far away
- I can’t afford it, Yoga classes are too expensive
- I’m not willing to give up my lifestyle
- I’m too stressed
- I’ve tried it but didn’t get the results I wanted
And my personal favourite…
- I’m not flexible enough!
Well for starters, you don’t need to be flexible! Or fit, or have lots of spare time on your hands.
Now here’s the proof. See this picture on the left? That’s me. I have my own business in Benfleet, a wonderful boyfriend, three pets, hobbies, plus I enjoy a busy social life, great parties and have a passion for good food.
What I’m trying to say is I could have easily given any of the above reasons NOT to do Yoga. And still, despite all these so-called hurdles…
I’m Using Yoga To Be Happier, Healthier, More Focused And More Relaxed Than Ever Before
Believe me, I was a very different person a few years back. I was constantly challenged by the stress of work and family commitments, and my erratic emotions affected my health and my relationships.
Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t an unhappy person. But I knew there had to be a better way. Since I was so pressed for time, I needed an all-in-one solution. Something that could help me with my work, my physical health, my mind and even my relationships.
At the time, I wasn’t sure if such a thing existed. I tried going to the gym, following strict health-food diets, different forms of exercise…
But Nothing Could Really Give Me What I Wanted
And then my friend encouraged me to join a 10 week Yoga course at my local gym. I’d heard many good things about Yoga, but had never considered trying it (I was full of objections back then too). But since it was at my gym, and since I had tried just about everything else for a better life, I figured why not?
So I took the plunge.
And It Was Probably The Best Decision Of My Life
The classes, although very basic, opened my eyes to the possibilities of Yoga. Again, they didn’t give me exactly what I wanted, but they paved the way to an incredible trip to India (I’ll explain more on this shortly) that gave me the wisdom I needed to use Yoga for:
- Relieved work, health and personal life-related stress
- A more toned body
- Increased energy level without drinking tea or coffee
- Improved flexibility and balance
- Relieved muscle and body aches
- Better focus at work
- Improved relationships with family, friends and co-workers
- Deep relaxation like never before
And you could be experiencing all this too. Not within years, not within months, but within a matter of weeks – no matter how busy, stressed, tired, skint, lazy, food-loving or fun-loving you may be. Because if I can do it, anyone can.

How? Well remember the trip to India I mentioned earlier? I spent one month on an intensive teacher training course at the Yoga Vidya Gurukul University, in Nasik.
To cut a long story short, I walked away from that University with all the skills, wisdom and insight I needed to show the modern, busy person like you how to experience the true power of Yoga in your life, without sacrificing anything else in the process.
And yes, I can do this in the comfort of your own home, place of work, or even my tranquil studio.
Think About The Alternatives…
Yoga classes at the gym? 99% of gyms out there teach a diluted version of Yoga that won’t give you the full benefits. What’s more they’re held in noisy, air-conditioned studios – not exactly the ideal environment for becoming ‘at one’ with yourself!
Private Yoga classes? Too expensive in most cases.
Teach yourself with books or courses? Books or courses only work if you know the fundamentals. You CANNOT teach yourself Yoga from scratch. What’s more, you can actually hurt or injure yourself from incorrect alignment, and actually end up causing stress on and in your body!
